It’s once again time for our annual “Ride to Provide” event to benefit the Levy Association for Retarded Citizens (LARC). The “Ride to Provide” was founded four years ago by members of the Levy County Law Enforcement community and has in the past been very successful in raising funds to assist this deserving organization. This ride is one of only two private fund raising events held each year that help to fund the education and training programs for this group of incredible people who live with developmental disabilities. As we all know, programs of this kind are experiencing some of the most difficult financial times in their histories and as such need our help now more than ever. Therefore, we are writing to you today to ask that you become one of our “Ride to Provide” sponsors to help LARC cope with the devastating cuts the legislature imposed over the past years. Your sponsorship, at any level will be greatly appreciated and will make a difference in the lives of these deserving individuals.
